is the first album of a from french reggae-dub sound system Livity Access, released for Fresh Poulp Rec.
Born of the fusion of two collectives (B.Y.N Inity & Jahsoss’) in 2008, this crew gathers 15 artists. After four years of hard work creating their own productions and playing them at their parties, they bring you today a top-notch and efficient album.

DJ Food – Magpies, Maps & Moons {2011}

Finishing the trilogy of EPs started in 2009 with One Man's Weird Is Another Man's World and The Shape of Things That Hum, comes Magpies, Maps and Moons. Another five track 12", wrapped in a poster cover by 2000ad comic artist Henry Flint, and featuring more collaborations to add to the growing Food roster. 

In vocal form we have JG Thirlwell - aka Foetus, Steroid Maximus and Manorexia amongst many others - providing a vocal for the lead track, "Prey". Having been a fan of JG's work since the late 80's this was a dream come true for Strictly Kev who remixed a Foetus track for free, alongside Amon Tobin on 2002's Blow album for Thirlwell, on the provision that they collaborate in the future.
The other collaboration comes from London resident Aaron Thomason aka 2econd Class Citizen on the 11 minute plus audio montage, "Magpie Music". The two met up earlier this year after Kev had raved about Aaron's debut LP A World Without on Germany's Equinox label. Rather than sit down and work on a single song the pair decided to swap samples and create short pieces in isolation before comparing and critiquing them, then remixing and working them into a long form piece.
All this, with various tracks from the previous EPs, will add up to the album, The Search Engine, released in Jan 2012, which cherry picks the best 10 tracks, remixing or editing them along the way, and adds a final collaboration to boot.

PANTyRAiD is a true cross over project – hip hop, dub step, electro-crunk… all done right with hard booty shaking instrumentation. These guys talk with their instruments in the true sense of the word.

TENSHUN - PSYCHCAST 02 {2010}

Tenshun’s (real name Jon Calzo) is an eclectic turntable/electronic music artist and beatmaker from san diego CA, head of Skrapez label and part of the Creatures and kilowattz crews.
In recent years, he has performed concerts in Los Angeles and San Diego including the Museum of Contemporary Art Downtown. Calzo is also a member of an electronic music duo called Tenshun who just released a few recordings on their own label and the group Obscuricon. For the past two years, Calzo has been blurring the lines of musical genres with his extensively wide range of influences, mixing his own music with hip-hop, funk, polish jazz and scratch-dub. A very brief list of his influences include David Tudor, John Cage, The Executioners and QBert.

Over the past years, DJ Scientist has become an important figure in the German Hip-Hop and Electronic scene. Running two labels (Equinox and Audiac) and publishing a magazine (DEAD Magazine), he still takes his time to dj at clubs, release mixes, expand his record collection and, last but not least, produce music.Although DJ Scientist is mainly known for his instrumental productions he has recorded songs with hiphop artists like Ceschi, 2Mex (of Visionaries), Mikah9 (of Freestyle Fellowship), Awol One (of Shape Shifters), Noah23, among others.
During his career, Scientist has performed with artists such as Sage Francis, The Pharcyde, Noah23, M.I.A., DJ Faust & DJ Shortee, Ceschi Ramos, Sole & The Skyrider Band, Egyptian Lover, Marc Hype & Jim Dunloop, DiViNCi (of Sol.illaquists of Sound), Subtitle, Boca45, Geste, The Tape, Thesis Sahib, Busy Bee, Wildchild, DJ Static, 88:Komaflash, and many others.

BUFFALO DAUGHTER - The Weapons of Math Destruction {2010}

In July 2010 Buffalo Daughter released "The Weapons of Math Destruction", on their own Buffalo Ranch label, their first release in four years. They again collaborated with support drummer Atsushi Matsushita, who also plays with Zazen Boys, and with who played at Fuji Rock 2010 and did a national tour in November.

Pharoahe Monch - W.A.R. (We Are Renegades) 2011

 Monch released three albums as part of the rap duo, Organized Konfusion with partner Prince Poetry: The self-titled Organized Konfusion, Stress: The Extinction Agenda and The Equinox. The duo handled a large amount of production on these albums themselves. All albums received positive critical reviews, but moderate sales. As a result, the duo split up after recording their final album The Equinox in 1997. Prince Poetry has since denied the possibility of an Organized Konfusion reunion.
